On Saturday morning as I was returning from my early morning walkabout I noticed the postman's truck across the street from my house. That could only mean one thing! My Blogging By Mail package had arrived. I crept up to the porch and noticed an Amazon box bearing my name. I picked it up and trotted around the house to the back door. Setting the box down on the dining room table I ran to my room to get my camera and some shears to cut through the tape.

The first thing I saw was an envelope with my name on it. I opened it to see a beautiful picture of a vineyard. Inside was a lovely note from Ed at Tomato telling me about each of the items he had chosen for my box and a DVD about the treasures of Tasmania.
The second thing I saw was the Cadbury "Cherry Ripe" candy bar. This is a delicious mix of cherries and coconut enrobed in dark chocolate. So very me! I love cherries, I love coconut, and chocolate... well, who (beside my sister and my roommate) doesn't love chocolate?
The next thing was a bag of Blinky Bill natural gummy candies. I have been restraining myself from ripping into this bag of yummyness because the aforementioned Cherry Ripe is already a goner.
A tin of Sirena Italian style tuna was the next thing I saw. I love tuna and am envisioning a lovely avocado stuffed with tuna for dinner this week.
A beautiful jar of Australian honey was next. I can't wait to bust this open and try it. I spent a good portion of the day yesterday going through my recipes that call for honey so I can find something that is worthy of this wonderful golden honey!
A tube of Vegemite, which I love spread on toast with some sliced tomatoes.
Next was a bottle of Bundaberg Ginger beer that is wonderfully cloudy with ginger. I have it chilling now. I like ginger beer a lot so it will be fun to try an import to see how it compares to the ones I've had in the past.
Next was a can of Bundaberg Rum and Cola described by Ed as being favored by the tattooed mullet wearing surfers. I laughed so hard when I read this that my roommate came up from her basement room to see what was going on.
And then last but by no means least, the most beautiful bottle Tree of Life of Macadamia Oil! A great alternative to olive oil. I can't wait to try this drizzled on some tomato and mozzarella or a nice light salad dressing!
Ed, I can't thank you enough for all the wonderful gifts! It's going to take all my willpower not to tear right through everything because it's all so yummy looking!
Blogging By Mail was organized by the wonderful Stephanie of Dispensing Happiness. Thank you Steph for doing all the work and doing such a great job! I had fun putting together the package I sent to Randi at 2 girls in the kitchen and even more fun receiving my package from the wonderful Ed of Tomato.
I can't wait until the next go 'round!

I'm with notsoccer mom. macademia oil sounds fantastic. Everything sounds great and you seem very excited. I may get in on this next time.
Very glad you enjoyed it all. I hope the DVD works. I forgot about the regional differences in players. I've sent you a box of Australian cliches but there again we are a country of cliches and there are plenty to drag out for the next BBM. have you tried the ginger beer yet?
How cool, you got some good stuff! :)
