help me... i've gone mental!


i have just signed up to run/walk the rome marathon with Team in Training, march 16, 2008.

clearly i have lost my mind.

Wait...did I read that right? You will be doing this in ROME? No you are not insane...you will be doing this in ROME! Anything is better in Italy :)

yep! i always (well, since 2006 when i was training for the tri) said i wanted to do the rome marathon...

i'll also be saving my remaining week of vacation from this year and my two weeks from next year and try to spend some quality time roaming around tuscany after the race. :)

Rome??? Color me jealous.

Then again, if you really want to go to Rome, do you have to physically torture yourself to get there? :D

I know ... all that running/walking will help make up for the calories of eating all that fantastic Italian food! hee hee.

NSM: they haven't given me the exact number but i believe it's in the neighborhood of $6,800. EEK!

i do have almost 6 months to raise that though... wish me luck.

I trained for a 1/2 marathon a 2 years ago. Thought it was going to kill me. :) but to go to Rome, I'd be willing to take up training again.

I think it's wonderful! You may be crazy, but that puts you in good company hee! I just recently joined taw kwon do, I am a white belt and my 6 year old daughter is almost a brown belt so she helps me out in the class! Thankyou for visiting my blog, and I do cherish every minute with my dad, I aprreciate the understanding :-)
