
Stephanie, the hostess with the mostest over at Dispensing Happiness has declared this months Blog Party theme to be: "Kids Food" so here are my contributions:
Tortilla roll ups:
Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1 (1 ounce) package dry fiesta-style ranch dressing mix
1 cup chunky salsa
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
10 (10 inch) flour tortillas
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, sour cream, fiesta-style ranch dressing mix, chunky salsa and Cheddar cheese. Spread even amounts of the mixture onto the tortillas. Roll tortillas and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
2. To serve, slice the chilled, rolled tortillas into 3/4 inch slices and arrange on a large serving platter

Ants on a log:
Ingredients:
5 stalks celery
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup raisins
Directions:
1. Cut the celery stalks in half. Spread with peanut butter. Sprinkle with raisins.

And to drink, Old Fashioned Pink Lemonade:
Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
9 cups water
2 cups fresh lemon juice
1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
Directions:
1. In large pitcher combine sugar, water, lemon juice and cranberry juice. Stir to dissolve sugar. Serve over ice.

okay, i'm sold. you can do the food at m's next party.
yeah, i am so NOT a caterer... but i could probably come up with some other kid friendly foods. :) as long as you still make one of your awesome cakes for the little guy.
I love those tortilla roll ups. my mom used to put ham and a sweet pickle in them.
The tortilla rollups look amazing...the form factor is so convenient. Oops, sorry about that: I spoke like a geek. Bad habit, I'm afraid.
Now I'm hungry. Off to the kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration!
Homemade pink lemonade, good call, I'll be making some of that for myself.
